Pete here, back again, for the 5th time. Yup, it’s true! You may recognize me from the summer of 2021, as I needed a lifesaving surgery from UC Davis and we talked about it a lot! Well, I got adopted, many times, we learned a lot, so now I have some very specific criteria for a home. Keep reading if you’re interested!
I am OCD when it comes to a clean home. I need super clean, no scented things, and a very natural environment. My recent respiratory challenges have been pinpointed to allergies (most specifically smoke) and I am 100% fine. However, my list of "criteria" for a home is growing: I need to be the only pet, because I must have ALL of the attention for myself, and I need a clean and smoke-free home environment with no scented diffusers or candles. I am also a busybody, so I will require a TON of attention - play, pets, cuddles, and conversation. I am a very active cat and need someone who wants a companion that's overflowing with energy! I also need to eat from an elevated slow feeder. No special diet (I eat regular Purina One adult food!), but it has to be in a slow feeder, and I can't have anything else - no canned food and no human food (even if I beg). I MUST be indoor only, because if I eat anything other than my normal dry food from an elevated slow feeder, I can get really sick. However, I'm harness trained and would love someone who will take me out for walks! BTW, I’m very healthy now with no regular vet bills other than my yearly routine vaccines and wellness visits!
Oh, and my FieldHaven family does have a request for my adopter. They would love if you would be willing to stay in communication with the team and become part of the FieldHaven family, as they invested a lot in saving my life and would love to know how I am doing in the future.
