“Hi furriends! We are Josh, Jim, James, Jeff, and Jeremy Johnson. We came from an overcrowded home, where the people just got in over their heads. We all needed vet care—we were skinny, had respiratory infections, kitty colds and more. When we came to FieldHaven we were treated and started several rounds of medication to get better. We put on some weight, took time to get healthy and decompress. Now our coats are glossy, our eyes bright, and our health 100%!
Because we were in the crowded home we didn’t get the one on one human attention we needed to build our confidence and learn key socialization traits. This means we can be a bit timid around new people, but as you can see from our photos, we love cats! With the humans we just need you to go a bit slow, respecting our space, maintaining a peaceful, gentle, soothing vibe, and remembering that patience is key. Once we get to know you then you’ll see our silly, affectionate, fun-loving personalities.”
Josh is the most shy and would do best being adopted with a brother. Jeff is the most outgoing and the first to go up to new people and sniff them out to see if they're cool enough to be around his siblings. He likes to climb around on high shelves and talks a lot, too! Jim and James dance in between them, personality wise. They're also the most bonded to each other, and you'll often find them cuddling together in between playing and climbing! They would all do best in homes with other cats, or going home in pairs with each other. Their homes should be on the quieter side, and they need people who are willing to be patient with them as they take their time adjusting to their new environments.
