Hi! This here is Maxine, an 11 year old colony retiree. What does colony retiree mean? It means that the cat has come from a colony that has been disbanded, and all the cats are being moved along to the next chapter in their kitty lives. Maxine, and her bonded buddy Gracie, come from a colony that used to be behind Winco. Now these girls get to retire from living outside and hunting to being cozy and warm in a home. Since they have lived outside most of their lives, Gracie and Maxine are a little shy and don't seem to do much. However, after spending time with their foster and getting used to the indoors, they have started leaving their shells. Maxine is the shy one of the two girls, not really up for exploring the house. Her name used to Max before she came to Fieldhaven to be fixed where it was discovered she was a girl! Both cats don't mind being picked up and placed in a lap for some brushing and pets. However, these two have yet to approach get pets on their own as they are still adjusting to cozy pet life. Bonded to Gracie
