Hi! I'm Gumbo. No, not the kind you eat silly! I'm so glad I'm here; at FieldHaven. I'm not sure exactly what has happened to me, but I know I had a family at one time, then I didn't, then I started hanging out with a group, I think they call it a colony, where a nice lady gave me pets and lots to eat, then something bad happened to me and I couldn't see and it took me awhile to find that nice lady again. When she saw my bad eye she got me to FieldHaven as quick as they could get me in. They took that thing out and I'm so glad. The pain is gone! I'm kinda sad though cuz that nice lady can't keep me. Now I have to find someone else to love and care for me. I'll be shy and scared for a little while after all I've been through, but I know with a safe quiet, indoor place to live, with love, food and play I'll soon be much more outgoing. It would be great if that home has another kitty or even more for me to hang out with. I kind of got use to the "colony" thing, but I don't ever want to be outside in that big scary world again!! Oh, and did I mention how adorable I am! I'm ruggedly handsome too even if I am rather petite for being a boy! Are you ready to bring me home with YOU?
