Hi, I’m Kami! I’m an incredibly sweet, one-year-old gal who was found in Chico. I am eartipped, the universal sign that someone had me fixed and vaccinated, but when I was found, no family came forward nor did any caregivers. A kind family took me in but they already have a full house, and I’m FIV+, and they are not comfortable mingling me with their other kitties. I understand (truly, no judgement) , but the good news is that the science today tells us it is not nearly as scary as it used to be! I can live with other FIV+ cats, or FIV- cats, as long as everyone is mellow and gets along. It is not easily transferable, but you do need to be comfortable with it. Just sayin’! But regardless, I would be a fantastic cat for someone looking for some serious love and affection. I’m very social, I love to play, and I adore attention. I’m docile, gentle, inquisitive and I’m known to burst into purring storms. My finders truly love me and they are not happy about rehoming me, so that should say a lot about my charming purrsonality! I’m not particularly enthusiastic about dogs, but I also don’t panic or anything around them. I’m just wary. I’m indifferent around other cats, but I haven’t come into too much direct contact with those in the home. Likely with the right slow, supervised intros I would be fine. Want to meet me?
